Georgetown University Hospital’s Transplant Institute and Center for Intestinal Care and Transplant recently opened a new 15-suite inpatient unit dedicated to children. The only unit of its kind in the mid-Atlantic region, it is designed to provide sophisticated care and a place for families to call home when their children are hospitalized due to intestinal disease, liver disease, tumors or transplantation.  |
