Nursing Research

The capacity for nursing research at MedStar Georgetown continues to grow.  The impact of our research consultants is evident in the increased number of nursing research studies in process (approximately 26) and in the diversity of nursing units conducting the studies.  The capacity for growth is also demonstrated by nurses extending their research from a few nursing units to a hospital-wide study and eventually system-wide.  A few nursing units are getting ready for their second or third study!
