MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's pancreatic patients are cared for by Jane Hanna, RN, OCN, the dedicated nurse coordinator for the Pancreatic Disease Program. Ms. Hanna is a liaison for referring physicians and their patients and helps with all aspects of patient care—from diagnosis to treatment to follow up. She is also a resource for clinical trials and provides patient and community education.
