Dr. Michael Reilly specializes in facial plastic surgery, including the full spectrum of minimally invasive treatments. Dr. Reilly recognizes that beauty comes in many forms, and he prides himself on tailoring treatments to work with each patient’s natural facial features. Dr. Reilly feels truly fortunate to practice the art and medicine of facial reconstructive surgery, the ideal intersection of his interpersonal understanding, intellectual aptitude, surgical expertise, and aesthetic sensibility.

As a complement to his cosmetic practice, Dr. Michael Reilly serves as an Assistant Professor of Facial Reconstructive Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center and the Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Reilly is a recognized expert in complex cancer and trauma reconstruction of the face.

Dr. Reilly’s training began with undergraduate and medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to complete his 5-year residency in Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery at Georgetown University. Subsequently, Dr. Reilly completed a very prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center before returning home to Washington, D.C.

Dr. Reilly continues to take an active role in medical research and education. He has authored and contributed to numerous articles on subjects such as fractionated carbon dioxide laser treatments, complications from cosmetic surgery, and post-traumatic rhinoplasty. Dr. Reilly enjoys his role in teaching graduate and post-graduate medical students at MedStar Georgetown. He is a fluent Spanish-speaker and volunteers to perform reconstructive cleft lip and palate surgery throughout Central and South America.
