Perinatal Services Department Tours are available.
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is the "most breastfeeding-friendly facility" in Washington as recognized by the DC Breastfeeding Coalition. With international board-certified lactation consultants (IBCLC) available seven days a week, the center provides full-service breastfeeding support that includes counseling, education, evidenced-based clinical management, an outpatient clinic as well as the sale and rental of breastfeeding equipment. The Lactation Center is available to all breastfeeding mothers, including employees and their spouses.
